Introduction

This resource is designed to help colleagues gain ‘buy-in’ for T Level industry placements within their organisation. 

The resource can be adapted to send or present to:

• • Department / Team Leads – helping them consider hosting students in their teams
  • Prospective Line Managers – helping them to create a supportive environment

Who it’s for

It will be useful for Learning and Development and Human Resource leads that want to persuade colleagues to implement T Level industry placements. 

It should help employers in all sectors and of any size, but may be especially relevant to larger, multi-site employers who have the potential to increase student numbers significantly and scale up their programmes over time.

What’s in the resource

PowerPoint Presentation

The presentation is a template that can be adjusted for individual organisations. There is a pick and mix of slides, with guidance notes where appropriate. There are also some activities presenters can run to help colleagues think about how industry placements could specifically support their departments.
