Webinar recording: How the new industry placement guidance can help you design and deliver IPs as an employer

Following the publication of the revised DfE industry placement guidance, this webinar supported employers to think more innovatively about the ways they can design and host industry placements that work for their organisation.
The core requirements of industry placement remain the same. They must still be overseen by an external employer/s, align to the student’s T Level course, and last a minimum of 315 hours.
What has changed is the scope employers and providers have to design placements innovatively within that framework. The updated guidance provides clear advice on approaches such as split placements, remote hours, small team projects, skills hubs, and flexible timing or working patterns.
This session was for any employer considering, planning or already hosting industry placements.
