Summary of T Level results day 2025 - Update March 2026
The fourth year of T Level results- with nearly 12,000 students (11,981) receiving results which includes the award of two new subjects for the first time- Agriculture, Land Management & Production, and Legal.
The overall pass rate is 93%, with two thirds of students (66%) achieving a merit or above. This is a huge accomplishment for these young people who have worked so hard over the past two years, supported by their fantastic schools and colleges.
We are delighted that now, over 90% of the students from every completing cohort have achieved their T Level. One of the things that sets T Levels apart from other technical qualifications is that crucial 45 day industry placement. This is where young people can truly experience their chosen field, preparing them for the world of work and is why around a third of those that get jobs afterwards do so with their chosen T Level industry placement employer.
It’s great to see that 97.9% of students from this year’s cohort have completed their industry placement, with a significant number of the remaining students still working towards completing their placement at a later date.

Transforming Technical Education
T Levels are transforming technical education - delivering fantastic results for thousands of young people and giving them the confidence and skills for further study, apprenticeships or skilled employment. We already know that over 90% of the first two cohorts were in work or study when surveyed following their T Level.
97% of T Level students who applied to university in 2023 and 2024 received at least one offer, and we’ve seen T Level students go on to begin careers with major international employers.
New T Level in Marketing
We will continue rolling out T Levels to ensure young people get the training they need to get on in life. September 2025 includes a new T Level in Marketing.
